My name is Amadu L. Kamara, and I am 18 years old. I currently attend EduNations Hope Academy Senior Secondary School in Rokassa, where I am a rising senior, beginning my 12th grade year.

I come from Gbenekoro Village, one of EduNations’ communities in Sierra Leone. I am part of a family of five siblings, and my parents are local farmers who work hard to provide for our family. We are Muslims, living together in Gbenekoro.

I began my education at the EduNations Hope Academy in Gbenekoro during my junior secondary school years, and later continued my studies at EduNations Senior Secondary School in Rokassa. Because my parents’ income is very limited, it has often been difficult to meet my personal needs as a student. To help support myself, I started farming small crops during school holidays. At times, I even went to the farm after school hours, when others might be resting. It was not easy, but it helped me cover some of my expenses.

EduNations has truly changed my life, both academically and spiritually. Through discipleship classes, I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior, and I have experienced God working miraculously in my life.

At present, I serve as a boarding home parent assistant for Dr. Sesay’s boys, where I have learned valuable leadership skills. I also hold the role of Minister of Food and Nutrition in the boarding home and student administration. These opportunities have helped me grow in responsibility and service.

Looking ahead, I aspire to become an accountant after I graduate from high school here in Rokassa. I am trusting God to provide the support I need to pursue this dream.

I am deeply grateful to EduNations for their love, care, and support throughout my educational journey. They have not only provided me with quality education but have also shown me the love of Christ, helping me to grow in my faith.
