My name is Bamkaprie Sesay. I’m a 20-year-old student from Mayatta village, and on July 5, 2025, I proudly graduated from EduNations Hope Academy Senior Secondary School. I never imagined I would come this far.

I come from a large extended family—my father had four wives, and I have 16 siblings. Life was hard, and eventually my mother separated from my father, taking four of us with her to start over in Mayatta. With no steady income, my mother couldn’t afford to send us all to school. I helped her sell small items just so we could eat. I didn’t know what would become of my life.

But in 2014, everything changed. EduNations came to Mayatta, and I was given the opportunity to start school—something I never thought possible. I began at the EduNations Primary School in Mayatta and continued at Mapainda Junior Secondary School. These schools weren’t just places of learning; they became my home and foundation.

I grew up without any religious background. My parents didn’t practice any faith, and I never went to church or mosque. But through EduNations, I began attending weekly chapel services. When I later moved to Rokassa for Senior Secondary School, I encountered Christ in a personal way and gave my life to Him. Today, I am a Christian, and my faith continues to grow stronger.

Looking back, I’m deeply humbled. Many of the girls I grew up with were married off early because their families couldn’t afford to educate them. Without EduNations, I might have faced the same future. But God made a way for me.

Now, as a proud high school graduate, I feel hope and strength I never had before. EduNations has transformed my life—academically, spiritually, and emotionally. I’m no longer lost. I have purpose.

My dream is to study medicine. I want to help people, serve my village, and be the change my family and community need. I believe God has a plan for me, and I’m determined to follow it.

To EduNations and every sponsor—thank you. You gave me more than an education. You gave me hope, direction, and a future. Because of you, I am standing tall today, ready to embrace what’s next.
