EduNations Boarding Structures and Equipment Program
The EduNations Boarding Structures and Equipment Program supports the physical infrastructure necessary to house and care for students attending our Senior Secondary Schools in rural Sierra Leone. This program includes the construction and maintenance of dormitories, furniture (such as beds, mattresses, desks, and lockers), as well as key communal spaces like the dining hall and kitchen. These facilities provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment where students can focus on their studies, free from the daily challenges of long commutes, food insecurity, or unstable living conditions. By investing in high-quality boarding infrastructure, EduNations ensures students have the comfort, nourishment, and structure they need to succeed academically and grow into future leaders.
To further enhance safety and security, the program also includes perimeter fencing around the boarding compound, solar-powered lighting, and basic solar energy systems to ensure a well-lit and secure environment at night. These additions not only protect students and staff but also provide reliable light for evening study and activities, even in areas with limited or no access to electricity. This combination of safety measures creates a secure and supportive campus that promotes learning and personal growth.
