EduNations Food and Nutrition Project
As part of the Boarding Program for Senior Secondary School students, the EduNations Food and Nutrition Project provides three nutritious meals each day to all students living on campus. This program is a critical component of student success, ensuring that young people receive consistent, healthy food that supports their physical growth, mental focus, and academic performance.
For many of our students, this is a significant improvement over life at home, where food insecurity is common and families often struggle to provide even one meal a day. Access to three balanced meals not only helps students maintain good health, but also allows them to stay alert, engaged, and ready to learn throughout the school day.
Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of 11 kitchen staff work long hours—typically 12 to 14 hours a day—to prepare meals for the students. Their tireless efforts ensure that each meal is made with care and served on time.
In addition, students in the boarding program are assigned rotating responsibilities in the kitchen, helping with meal preparation and dishwashing. These tasks are intentionally designed to teach practical home economics skills, foster a sense of responsibility, and build teamwork and cooperation among students.
By addressing the basic need for reliable nutrition, the Food and Nutrition Project empowers EduNations students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
