Fatmata lost their mother at the time when she was about to write her National primary school examination (NPSE). Her mother was the strongest source of income for the family and after her passing, Fatmata engaged in petty trading (soap making) in order to take care of herself and her two siblings. Living with her father, who is a petty trade at Bonth District, was very hard. After her examinations, her father sent her to live with her Aunty in Rohima who is a local farmer and that is how she started school at EduNations.
“My educational experience at EduNations has impacted my life so much. Before coming to EduNations it was very difficult for me to read and recall everything, especially during the examinations. During my time at EduNations I have developed and built good relationships with other students and my house parents, which has helped me to heal from the pain and sadness of missing my mother. My Christian faith and personal relationship with Christ has grown through the Discipleship classes. I now spend time studying God’s word and learning more on how to grow spiritually.
Upon graduation from high school I will be pursuing a degree in Bsc Human Resources Management, because I have the passion to manage people and I also want to change the life of my family members and bless my community and the world at large.”
