Sallu S. Kamara's parents died during the outbreak of the Ebola disease in Sierra Leone leaving him and his 5 siblings to the care of stepmother who is a poor farmer in Gbenikoro. Even as a young boy, Sallu was determined to go to school, so he would pay for his own school fees. He worked on the farms of his neighbors, and after he finished the work, they would pay him, and he would use that money to pay his school fee. Sallu finished primary school in 2022. Today, he attends EduNations Junior Secondary School in Gbenikoro. Recently we asked Sallu how EduNations has impacted his life. This was his answer:
"One of the greatest impacts that EduNations has on me is not only providing free and quality education, but also teaching me about Christ. Through EduNations I came to know about Jesus, and I gave my life to
Christ,becoming a Christian.”
