School Structures and Equipment Project
The School Structures and Equipment Project encompasses all of EduNations’ classrooms, school buildings, and teachers’ housing across our remote communities in Sierra Leone. As our student population continues to grow, so does the need for adequate facilities that provide a safe, stable, and inspiring learning environment where students can thrive. Many of our existing structures were built to meet urgent needs, and now we are committed to ensuring each village is equipped with durable, well-constructed buildings that support long-term educational success.
In addition to classrooms and school facilities, this project also addresses the critical need for teacher housing. Most EduNations teachers relocate from other parts of Sierra Leone to serve in these rural villages—often leaving behind their own families and communities. Upon arrival, they must find safe and secure places to live, which is often a significant challenge. By providing dedicated teachers’ quarters in each community, we aim to give every teacher a "home away from home"—a place where they feel valued, supported, and able to focus on their calling to educate and mentor the next generation.
