Village Development Program

EduNations’ Village Development Program is designed to foster long-term sustainability, empowerment, and economic growth within the remote communities we serve. This multifaceted initiative supports projects that extend beyond traditional education to invest in the broader wellbeing and future of our students and their villages.

A central feature of this program is the Yayo Weaver Scholarship Fund, which awards full tuition for the first year of university to the top two male and top two female graduates from each EduNations Senior Secondary School. This opportunity makes higher education attainable for our most promising students, many of whom are the first in their families to complete high school.

The Village Development Program also supports community-based economic and agricultural initiatives, including the development of local bakeries that provide job training and income, and Pa Santigie Gardens, which produces palm oil and supports sustainable agriculture practices. These initiatives contribute to food security, economic opportunity, and community self-reliance.

Additionally, the program includes Disaster Relief efforts, which provide critical support when natural disasters or severe weather events damage community infrastructure. Whether responding to flooding, storms, or other emergencies, EduNations mobilizes resources to assist with rebuilding efforts, restore access to essential services, and help families recover and regain stability.

Together, these projects aim to build stronger, more resilient communities by addressing educational advancement, economic sustainability, agricultural development, and emergency response in a holistic and lasting way.

Pillars:  Physical Development, Intellectual Development, Psychosocial Development
